We are pleased to present the new public website for CHILL, with an aim to connect independent health libraries. We have been working on a new website which represents the lively and organic CHILL membership. The website aims to support CHILL in delivering its objectives of building connections and co-operation, encourage professional development, provide guidance and peer support and work towards enabling stronger information services and promote the availability of and access to information.
Tom Bishop, Chair of Chill says:
“As a vibrant membership body, we needed a website that could cope with the increased need to communicate and share information online, in particular around building stronger library and information services. The main task of CHILL is in supporting its members in their careers as library and information professionals, and providing peer support during tough times of cut backs and resource scarcity. We are particularly keen to promote the value of CHILL and its members to the wider health and care sector.”
The new website is accompanied by new branding, donated to CHILL at no cost, which CHILL will utilise across its promotional efforts. CHILL is entirely funded by membership contributions and input from volunteers.
